I'm going to have to ask my German friends to verify. I know German has long words...but are they THAT long??!! good for you to be learning German.

It has come to my attention that there is a high possibility of misconstrual regarding my educational status, particularly the linguistic portion. While it may seem that I have been studiously assimilating knowledge of the Deutsche language, I regret to inform you, my reader, that this in fact has not been the case. While I would love to be in this pursuit, or that of another tongue, my schedule does not allow it, since my transcript does not require it. My seeming mastery of the language is solely due to having found a rather humorous listing of a fictitious vocabulary lesson, some years ago in fact; and to the use of one translation website that has come in handy from time to time, namely freetranslation.com. I apologize to anyone who may have misapprehended the situation, for I did not wish to mislead, but to bring a bit of mirth to my reader. I kindly refer you to the article, to carefully read the "German" therein, and realize that the words are strangely English-like...

barken paten sniffer snatcher?
You are so goofy!

although the piano recital one is pretty funny!

and the nurse one is - well, no one needs help to take a pulse. I feel insulted! ;)

Are you going to put this to music?
I could play the Plinkenplankenplunkenbox for you!
