I was frustrated again by the fact that I could not get my camera to capture the visible features of the moon, but this time I was able to diagnose the problem as being caused by the inability of the aperture to be stopped down sufficiently to let just enough light in.
Oh well, I am glad I am able to see it with my eyes, anyway. :)

Eventhough the moon is featureless, the color is magnificent. :)
what i am not sure of, is whether that first picture displays a moonbow, or if it is just an artifact of the camera...most probably the latter, tho.
